BOS.QT retreat to the Müritz

Several doctoral students of our group participated in this year’s retreat, which underscores the strong academic and research environment fostered by BOS.QT and highlights the collaborative spirit across the participating institutions — HU, TU and FU Berlin — in partnership with several non-university research organizations. As a part of the ongoing commitment to fostering a vibrant academic community, this event provided an excellent platform for participants to exchange ideas, form new collaborations, and engage with leaders in the field of quantum technologies.

Summer excursion in Hamburg with jDPG

Our Laser system team took part in an eventful get-together organized by „Die junge DPG“ in Hamburg. During the event, lectures, lab tours and excursions through the DESY campus led by the Quantum Gases group, including a visit to the Petra III and HERA circles have been on the agenda and spawned interesting conversations and connections. During the student talks, we presented our work at IQS, mainly focusing on the progress of the AeroQGrav project – an airborne gravimeter.
